Consumer Report on Youth Juice

So you’ve probably heard of Youth Juice and their claim to improve your health. You may have even purchased a bottle but what are you buying and from whom? Before you spend a dime on another bottle read on to discover what you’re getting and how credible the source really is.

Some history behind the founder of Youth Juice, Bob Edwards: You may recognize the name from the early 90′s as the man who ripped of America to the tune of over 33 million dollars with the Fund America organization. This is the same company that was shut down by the Attorney General and the Florida Department of Finance; as a result of his fraudulent activities, Mr Edwards if bared from ever doing business in USA.

In the few short years that the “Our World Network” organization (parent company to Youth Juice) has been around it has been sued a bunch of times and has more than a few cases with Health Canada, the Canadian Version of the FDA.

Another great example of this companies dirty ethics can be seen with there now illegal “all natural” sleeping aid called Sleepees. In February of 2007 Health Canada discovered that these supplements contained a very potent, highly addictive and potentially dangerous drug called Estazolam; that they forgot to declare as part their natural ingredient lists.oops. In didn’t seem to bother anyone at the company that people had died from that little oversight and those taking the drug have had to seek medical treatment because of sever withdraw symptoms. When confronted by the authorities and press the company released a press statement saying that it was accident that this highly addictive sleeping drug found its way into the contents of their sleeping aid supplement (yeah Right).

It seems that the OWN lists of products have all had problems keeping their facts straight. Most notably is the repeated miss use and gross misrepresentation of several well known experts in the health industry, such as Dr. Meg Jordan. Her face was used all over Sleepees and later Youth Juice. In a lawsuit against OWN Dr, Jordan claimed to have had no prior involvement with the company beyond the possibility to review their products. When she declined OWN took it upon themselves to put her image and fabricated endorsements on the advertisements of their products.

It’s frightening to think that there are more cases of this company’s complete lack of morality. So before you get into bed with these guys or fund them buy buying a bottle of juice for $100 (especially when Youth Juice isn’t nearly as effective as Acai Berry) think about who you’re supporting and the money you’re wasting.
