HCG Diet, Day 11

It’s a great morning. I went down one pound. And that’s an extra special pound because I did have a solid breakdown yesterday involving sugar cookies. Refer to yesterday’s article for details. I really don’t want to rehash it! But apparently I’m doing something right because I still went down one pound.

Lisa (my friendly HCG dieting buddy) is bugged at me because I’ve lost a substantial amount of weight and she’s only lost a few pounds. I keep telling her that I’m sure she doesn’t drink enough water, but she doesn’t believe me. She decided that she’s going to start filling a pitcher with the amount of water she should drink in one day and then she’ll know at the end of the day if she’s drinking enough water or not.

I’m thinking about doing it, too. I’ve had my weight loss slow down the last few days and I figure maybe I need more water. It’s one of the most common errors on the diet according to the HCG weight loss cure guide a supplemental guide to Dr. Simeons HCG protocol. It says I’m supposed to increase my water 2 to 3 quarts per day as a plateau breaker. Another plateau breaker they mention is green tea. The stuff is horrible, but I think I’ll give it another go; or just force it down once a day.

I took my HCG 3x as prescribed by the HCG weight loss cure guide a supplemental guide to Dr. Simeons HCG protocol. I took my B-Total (and loved the extra bit of energy I got from it). I even tried some Red Zinger tea. I think all the herbal teas are better with lemon squeezed in them.

For lunch I ate leftover Turkey and Tomato Soup with apples and lemon juice. I actually remembered to defrost meat for dinner and that never happens. I think it may have made a difference because the grilled chicken was extra good. With the chicken I had cabbage and some of the typical Melba toasts (but I did the Spicy 3 Pepper variety this time).

Lisa called me at the end of the day to let me know that I was right. She wasn’t getting enough water in her system. She didn’t get near emptying that pitcher she put on her counter. What a good trick! I wish I’d thought of it so I could take credit.
