Some call that wishful thinking. It can be hard to resist the flavors offered since Franchising changed the Italian espresso by adding extract flavors, whipped cream, and soy milks.
A Moka pot, is a stove top machine that will create foam just like a conventional machine. They make very good espressos. There are 2 different machines that have levers, the pump driven and the spring piston. These are normally used for commercial use. The pump driven machine is efficient and will keep up all day long. At home or in a business, you can hook these up to a water connection and never worry about running dry.
When you are a social drinker you can save your money and let those at home purchase the machines. The cost is parallel with the need to own one since the cost can be high. The machines are built to be used for years, like appliances. This is something to keep in mind when considering purchasing a machine.

Why buy an expensive espresso and a cheap grinder? The taste will not be good and you will be disappointed. You will probably spend around one-third the cost of the espresso machine to get a good one.

We are so close to the winter months, this is a good time to purchase an espresso machine or just go out and have a warm cup.
